Not trying to make light of it, just giving people a chance to pick a winner and win some points.

Not that serious about the campaign!!! I mean, I am signed up for the Kerry Campaign and a proud member of MoveOn.org. But still it's exciting to see who'll win. I think with Edwards on the ticket, we're gonna get those swing votes now. I HOPE SO!!!! :)

Well you sure got my 'swing' when I heard Edwards was on the ticket--even if he is an ambulance chaser.........but they are both Liberals so there is a danger that this will be a turn off for many. Anyhew...they got my vote.

Question

I don't really know who might win. I mean, considering the majority of those in this country that have power...it could be favorable for bush...especially since the war is part of his campaign...Now, I hope that Kerry wins...Hell, I would vote for a can of beer in order to keep bush out of the office. We'll have to see.

Ciao!

I just forked out 5,000 for Bush to win. So, I guess that I'll have to vote so that I can reap the winnings! The only reason that I'm voting for Bush is because Kerry looks like a snail eating fRenchman. As for Edwards, he looks like plain old white folk. Cheney on the otherhand is hiding underground so I can care less what he looks like.

By the way: I just betted 4 more times at 1,000, 25, 25 and 25 to put Bush ahead in the figures. Even if he doesn't win, this was fun!

At this point I'm not sure that either side is a great choice, but all things considered, please let it NOT be Bush. I don't know if this country can handle anymore of his fumbling idiocy. If we put ourselves in anymore debt or alienate ourselves any further from important global relationships........ah, I don't even want to think about it. I just get depressed :-(

Have a good weekend everyone!!

Ah yes...choosing the lesser of two evils...Always fun! I dont want to be responsible for putting either one of them into office!! or the ensuing havoc that they will inevitably wreak! Farenhheit 9-11 was good to get people thinking, but I hope you dont think that is unbiased truth!

I bet right before the election, the US will 'magically' find WMD or Osama bin Laden, thus ensuring Bush's re-election. I just have this feeling they're gonna try to pull something...And now they're talking about post-poning the elections in case of terrorist attack....Hmmmm I wonder why? Sounds familiar...anyone remember madrid?

The attacks will happen before the election. The terrorists want Kerry to be the next president. It'll work out perfectly for Al Qaeda and the USA. If Kerry becomes president, Al Qaeda will become allies with us and they'll not kill anymore innocent civilians. It sounds so easy, doesn't it? We're all fools no matter who becomes president. The whole bunch of us will just be killed off by the terrorists no matter the outcome.

Actually they already found scuds that violated the UN mandate last year, just ask Kuwaitis who were fired upon by Iraq when the invasion began. Also they believe they may have found some chemicals used in nbc ( nuclear, biological, chemical, not the tv network) warfare, they were sent back to the states for further testing. More than likely, the nbc materials have been exported via Al Queada operatives, or burried and waiting discovery by insurgents.

As for an attack prior to the election, you better believe they are going to try. WE have some good people put there trying their damnedest to prevent that, but even if we had 100% security, far exceeding the 9/11 Commission's reccommendations, We would still be vulnerable. Our open society, one of our greatest strengths, is also one of our greatest weaknesses. And remember, the terrorists that attacked Madrid, also destroyed a building after the election that they one.

Following is a brief background on Mrs.John Kerry. She hates being called that, by the way:

MariaTeresa Thiersten Simoes-Ferreira Heinz Kerry. Married Senator Kerry in 1995. She only took his name eighteen months ago and she is an "interesting" paradox of conflicts.

If you thought John Kerry was scary, he doesn't hold a candle to his wife! MariaTeresa Thiersten Simoes-Ferreira Heinz Kerry was born in Mozambique, the daughter of a Portuguese physician, was educated in Switzerland and South Africa. Fluent in five languages, she was working as a United Nations interpreter in Geneva in the mid-60's when she met a "handsome" young American, H. John Heinz, III, who worked at a bank in Geneva. He told her hisfamily was "in the food business."

Theywere married in 1966 and returned to Pittsburgh where his family ran the giant H. J. Heinz food company. He was elected to the US House of Representatives in 1971, and in 1976 he was elected to the first of three terms in the United States Senate. A Republican, he wrote a burning diatribe against some of the causes backed by young House member John Kerry.

Several years later, in 1991, he was killed when his plane collided with a Sun Oil Company helicopter over a Philadelphia suburb. The senator, his pilot and copilot, and both of Sun's helicopter pilots were killed. He was survived by his wife, Teresa, and their three young sons.

Four years later, having inherited Heinz's $500 million fortune, she married Senator John Forbes Kerry, the liberal then-junior senator from Massachusetts. She became a registered Democrat and the process of her radicalization was set in motion.

Heinz-Kerry is not shy about telling people that she required Kerry to sign a prenuptial agreement before they were married. John Kerry may not have check writing privileges on the Heinz catsup and pickle fortune, but he is certainly a willing and uncomplaining beneficiary of it.

A lot of hard-earned money, made through many years of hawking catsup, mustard, andpickles has fallen into the hands of two people who despise successful entrepreneurship and who believe in the confiscatory redistribution of wealth.

So how does Mrs. Heinz Kerry spend John Heinz's money?

Just one example:

Accordingto the G2 Bulletin, an online intelligence newsletter of World Net Daily, in the years between 1995-2001 she gave more than $4 million to an organization called the Tides Foundation. And what does the Tides Foundation do with John Heinz'smoney?

They support numerous antiwar groups, including Ramsey Clark's International Action Center. Clark has offered to defend Saddam Hussein when he's tried.

They support the Democratic Justice Fund, a joint venture of the Tides Foundation and billionaire hate-monger George Soros. The Democratic Justice Fund seeks to ease restrictions on Muslim immigration from "terrorist" states.

They support the Council for American-Islamic Relations, whose leaders are known tohave close ties to the terrorist group, Hamas.

They support the National Lawyers Guild, organized as a communist front during the Cold War era. One of their attorneys, Lynne Stewart, has been arrested forhelping a client, Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, communicate with terror cells in Egypt. He is the convicted mastermind of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

They support the "Barrio Warriors," a radical Hispanic group whose primary goal is to return all of Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Texas to Mexico.

These are but a few of the radical groups that benefit, through the anonymity providedby the Tides Foundation, from the generosity of our would-be first lady, the wealthy widow of Republican senator John Heinz, and now the wife of the Democratic senator who aspires to be the 44th President of the United States.

Aiding and supporting our enemies is not good for America, regardless of your political views.

If voters will open their eyes, educate themselves and see the real Teresa Heinz-Kerry, they will not appreciate her position as ultra rich fairy godmother of the radical left. They will not want to imagine her laying her head on a pillow each night inches away from the President of the United States.

Hopefully they love this country enough to decide that the only way these two will ever be allowed into the White House is with an engraved invitation in hand.

Instead of deleting this, pass it on. Let everyone know these people are unfit to represent this great nation. The uninformed will never hear the truth from the press, who wants Kerry elected!

Those who buy the Kerry facade, beware what you vote for - - - you may regret that you got it!

Okay first off.....all the groups mentioned were minority groups. What is wrong with helping out minority groups? It may not be what you want and everything that is posted in that article would really upset a republican but it doesn't upset me.
I prefer having a gov't that would rather have a united purpose and not a divided one. The only things Republicans have on their side is saying something is radical....what's wrong with that??? How radical are they or are they just dedicated to their cause?? I think it's pretty well known that ANYTHING that goes against the Republican party is considered RADICAL....AIM is considered radical.....what about that? And where do they come up with all this great information??? Please tell me it's more than just a FORWARD WITH NO TRUTH BACKING WHATSOEVER?????

You know the GOP is getting nervous when all it can send out is blasphemous information about the Dem. Candidate's WIFE and not the Dem. candidate himself.
Please.....find something else to pick on him about....like his driving record. Oh wait, he doesn't have a bad one...Bush does...NO wait....we don't know b/c it's been destroyed......coincidence???? I think not.

Democratic/Republican, doesn't matter

Lol, my question was not about rep/dem parties, but the following: Do you, as a voter, look into the wife's views/beliefs etc at all, or do you strictly look at the man running for Pres.?

You can't just look at info. put out by their companies, or their support group b/c it will be weighted in their favor. They start cleaning-up their act long before they announce running.

Women usually have influence on their husbands, and looking back through history, you can see that influence. Does anyone take that in consideration before they go to the polls?
