Good morning!

I'm on a filtered Internet connection, which doesn't allow me to see all the cool jams. :(

Speaking of jam, I think I'd like some fresh hot buttermilk biscuits with butter and raspberry jam.

Morning folks:

Beautiful sunny day here in the prairies... those biscuits and jam look yummy.

Prayers and thoughts for our Samson Cree brethren who are voting today to begin to take control over the violence that has plagued their community these past few years. I pray they are successful.

Thanks, Trouble!

There was a female televangelist (Kathryn Kuhlman) back in the 1960's - 1970's. (Bear with me, this actually is relevant.) She began each of her shows with: "I beli-i-i-i-i-e-e-e-e-e-ve in miracles!" That line has always stuck with me.

So, my motto is:

I beli-i-i-i-i-e-e-e-e-e-ve in gluttony!

+++++++++++++

I think it would be cool/fun to have a "Titanic Dinner Party," based on the menus used on its final voyage. I got the idea from a book my Dad has on the Titanic's menus.

Look at u all in love. I bet people could see the little hearts flying out of your head and popping in midair above you. You and @lbgood have a nice life together. It's way too cute, like a match made in heaven.

I'm happy to say that Sparky is back to his normal (for him) happy, bouncy self. We have a routine when I get home from work. After I ditch the shoes and jacket, I let him out of the bedroom and he gets in my lap for some pats and fussing over. When he came bouncing out of the bedroom this morning and got in my lap, I was so happy to see him feeling like his old self, I started crying. I was so scared for him last night. My husband told me that whatever it was with him, lasted about another 20 minutes after I left for work, then he was fine. He said he picked him up, without being snarled at, and put him in bed. About 2 this morning, he said Sparky woke him up doing his "I gotta go out NOW" dance, and he was fine. I called the last 2 vets in the county that we haven't seen yet. (I"m as picky about vets as I was pediatricians.) One is out of town for 10 days and the second choice was not a big help when I called them. Said they would actually have to see the incident when it was occurring. I asked about a blood test to look for anything toxic and they said they could do that. Then they told me that their new patient fee was $325 and the blood test would run another $150. I said thank you and hung up. I'll wait for the first choice to return and see if she will work with us on the fees. She used to work with our vet that moved, so she knows us.
JD, funny you mention dogs getting cramps. Sometimes Sparky sleeps all knotted up like a pretzel and a couple of days ago, we had been talking about that and wondering if it was good for his spine and muscles to sleep that way.

Yeah Sparky!!! lol

Make sure u get him checked out, suebeeds!
