Gold Prices are higher than ever. Too late to buy I guess.

Think I'll better buy some collectors guns like a Colt Lightning, Colt Burgess in fine, shootable condition.

Still have some coins, won a Competition or as a gift.

BA, here a couple of my favorite places to go to look at jewelry:

Winfield Trading; Vanderwagon, NM; between Gallup and Zuni. Make sure you take the turquoise vault virtual tour. I spent four hours shopping there last Oct.:

Winfield Trading

Waddell Gallery; Scottsdale, AZ. Waddells tends toward modern, high end.

Waddell Gallery

Gallup Trading; Gallup, NM.

Palace Jeweler's; Santa Fe, NM. They're the Plaza branch of the Canyon Road Manitou Galleries.

Ches, you may know this:

For piecework like that, the jeweler gets a flat rate from the company buying the work for resale. Generally, they provide the silver. The end buyer pays a price which is mostly fabrication cost but is also based on the daily silver spot. Usually for these complex findings, the fabrication cost so dominates the price that it takes many dollar changes silver price to move the cost of the finding more than a couple pennies.

In NM and AZ, where the Native jewelry market is huge, there are small workshops that employ Native jewelers to make the seam beads, hogan beads, blossoms and najas sold in places that cater to the Native 'smith. I had a friend who worked in one in Nob Hill while he was in school. He made a zillion hogan beads.

The KY governor opened up the state to taking trips. I want to go to the woods awful bad. Been a long long time. Check the easement road and cut saplings out of the parking area and the shooting range and the main two logging trails. I may leave all the others that I previously cleared grown up. It is nice to have them cleared, but more natural for Eastern Woodland to have the trees reclaim them.

In the Woods, where you can stay alone or at distance, that will be safe. Talked yesterday to my doctor.

Washing Hands, wearing amsk and keeping distance than the Risk isn't to great, else we would have had masses of infections. On June 3. the schools will open more though unvclear how far and we will need the teachers above 60 and of the not so risky groups.

One third up to one half of all teachers are 60+.

Not enough and often with the wrong subject. Not enough teacher for math, Engineering, etc. Not enough for elementary School.

To help you understand......Facebook is a big place ! My beautiful wife has Facebook and about 4-5000 friends and followers. I do not ! However , my picture made the front page of several newspapers around the country , back when I was dancing all the time. Next thing you know my pic was everywhere , powwow fliers , bumper stickers , and more that a few nutcases used my pic as their profile pics on Facebook. Suddenly my wife is inundated with questions about why I'm in France and Germany among many other places in other countries and in the states .Guys claiming to be me ! So case by case my wife tracked these folks down and confronted them and made them take them down. I quit dancing big powwows. I don't allow anyone to take my pic. And now when I dance I don't paint up , don't wear my hat , try not to be noticed ! I prefer to be lost in the crowd !Besides that , I'm older now and like the quiet life.
