What do you dread about spring and summer ?

In my case I dread the tornado and hurricane seasons, the pollen, but most of all I dread seeing these really overweight people wearing short shorts and halters with rolls of fat hanging out. I really have to wonder if some of these people own a mirror or bother to look in one before they walk out their doors.

I dread the heat. My son is heat intolerant so anytime it's over 75 degrees, we have to be really careful. So it makes for a long summer.

I dread that it's gonna go so fast and I'm not ready. I'll try not to be one of those with rolls hanging out all over!

lol, especially when the guys are wearing a speedo eh? As the weather gets hot, I dread ticks and chiggers mostly. All you folks up north and out west just haven't lived till you get a good chigger infestation. Speaking of hot, the past three day's here were record setters, in the 90's already! But it's a wonderful 71 today, more like it.

Yesterday, I heard this buzzing sound while I was sitting in the back yard, I turned around...and it was this big swarm of bees heading toward my flowering tree! I don't think I've moved that fast since...well...I can't remember. And I don't look forward to the heat either! I have no air conditioner; guess I'll have to buy another kid pool this year

I relate to that! I try to stay covered until I drop this weight. I'm going to try that Relacore that's out now at Target. By the way, I wear shorts and a t-shirt when I go swimming at the beach

Good ole summertime

I was going to say nothing. A million things went through my head: powwows, no school, beaches, softball... then it hit me mowing the lawn twice a week.
But in the end I'll take it dandelions and all!

I dread:
mosquitos
being in direct sunlight for long periods of time
when the humidity is so high I can't breathe - especially when I have to be outside.

I love
wearing capris with cute sandels
going to the beach when it's a perfect day - not too hot and not too breezy

Ya'll should see what some of the teens around here wear as soon as the temps even threaten to rise! They wear mini skirts so short you can see their underwear IF they are wearing any, tub tops that barely cover their nips and those are the ones that just barely weight in at 200 pounds. I think the more weight they gain the less they wear. Between Playstation and TV American teens are really getting a weight problem.

I hear ya.... but booty shorts are booty shorts nomatter the azz that's wearing them lol. Just seems that nobody's upholding modesty and everybody's trying to show EVERYTHING. I saw a bandana at heichts and my niece informed me that it was a dress. wow.

I dread the azz crack jeans. Homa had to school me that THATwas the new cleavage. lol I'mma hafta pass on that one.

AND

The lil girls (ages 3-10) in hooch gear. A six year old should wear Dora or sesame street or something..... not hotpants with sexy written across her little behind.

spring - that would be pollen and flying stinging critters (allergies to both and not much of an issue because of "better living through modern chemistry")

summer - the heat. (a short round person is built for cold weather, yanno?)

We've got about 6 more weeks of -reasonable- weather and then I'll be Seattle-dreamin' until the middle of the fall.

1 of my firefighters is retiring in May and he has always said he was going to mow his front yard in a lime green speedo when he retired. Since he's a HUGE pratical joker, I've ordered him 1 and am giving it to him at his retirement breakfast next week. Did I mention he's a slim 268 pounds? I'm glad his wife has a good sense of humor, but I really pity his son's new girlfriend, she's in for another major shock! Last week he didn't know his son and his girl friend were still at the house, (they were suppose to have left for a movie already.) Being cute he pranced into the living room doorway and mooned his wife saying how about it honey? Ya want some? His wife grabbed a couch throw, his son cover his girl friends eyes and rushed her out the front door! lol Poor girl has no idea what she's in for around that man.
