You might think that I am kooky BUT...I had this friend that I had convinced that I could sense evil and ghosts...she used to take me with her when she would get new house listings (she was a real estate agent) so that she would know if there were any spirits in the houses that she was gonna list...I am a little devil sometimes...lol...

We live in the Central Savannha River Area of Central Ga. near Augusta, that pretty much puts us dead center of ancient Creek and Cherokee hunting grounds, in addition to that, we have the history of Sherman's march to the sea, the removal, and so much more. To the back of our propery you can still see old wagon train ruts where the heavyly loaded wagons went right thru here. When we first bought the property the owner gave us digital pictures that i enhanced on the computer and sure enough, there were spirits on the photo, hundreds of them..... when we moved in the place was a mess and there was an agree feel to it. I had been told the last 4 owers had left suddenly under mysterious circumstances like they couldn't stand the property or more to the point the property couldn't stand them lol The more we worked to clean the place up strange things began to happen. for instance all of us were outside and we heard a banging noise from inside of the house and the sound of glass breaking......when we came in to see what it was, there was nothing out of place but there was a hand print on center of one of the windows......strange part, the place has a new feel to it. like something bad had left rather quickly. the more we cleaned the more crystals we found, all colors of them from an angry red to a very cool blue.... we even found them in place we had already cleaned...... personally we think they were leaving us small gifts . a welcome home gift if you would. so yeah if you want to call it haunting.....i guess it is. but we rather like our cohabitants....... :)

i often wondered about areas like this. my family actually lives in an area where a famous battle took place. i had a few trippy things happen while i was in the house, but i was by far more frightened while walking out side in the dark. i always felt i was being watched by something not neccesariy evil but maybe angry. i would also lose things, but i would ask for them back. usually they show up. the last thing i lost was my car keys, that pissed me off they just wouldn't show up cost my $80 to get another one made. anyway one of trippiest things to happen to in this house was back when i moved in. i worked in a casino and came home really late at night when doing night shift. anyway i came in the back door and turned around to take off my shoes. while i was turned around the lights went on in the kitchen. i thought i was my kids. turned around nothing. went to check on kids, still sleeping. so i had a mattress on the floor in the living (LOng story don't ask) i just took off my uniform and went to bed. just before i fell asleep i hear this tumbler tip over on the floor and slowly roll back and forth a couple of times. i was soo tired that i just told it to quit, and that i needed sleep. then i went to sleep.

things like that happen around here all the time., the wagon train ruts i spoke of are at the very back of our property, when you first step into them you get a feeling of being shoved backwards......then when you step back in a sorta burst of colors and sounds hard to explain . yet it's very real. we were up at the top of the hill putting in a garden and the kids found a couple of arrow heads..... the looked at them..... thought oh cool.......then pulled back some of the loose dirt and put them back in the ground.. it was like the spirit told them to do that . well like i said i sorta like my cohabitants....they are never scarey or malicious..... to be honest i truely belive they are some of the ancestors...... considering we have Cherokee roses that grow here all on their own . :)

My brother thinks they had children spirits in there house out in the country........they would hear children talking and walking around upstairs of their house........and no one would be there!! They got spooked a couple of times and left. They found out there used to be a children's home (orphanage) on their property. A friend of my brothers told him to smudge all four corners of his property with cedar......so he did and so far they haven't heard anything else.
When I was growing up we had this den added to our house where we would watch TV. Sometimes we would hear a moaning sound coming from one corner of the room. We had a chair over in that corner that our little terrier dog liked to sleep in, and whenever we'd hear that sound the dog would get out of that chair and run to the opposite side of the room and bark at the corner and chair. Gah, it had us all so spooked!!!
Come to find out, the antenna my Dad had hooked up on the side of the roof above the den would rub the side of the house where that antenna was when the wind would blow......sounded just like someone moaning!!!! haha
Geez, for years we thought we had a ghost over in that corner of the room!!!!

well for a time and still occasionally - i kept seeing the "form" or shadow of a small child (around three or four) in my house - just out of the corner of my eye - running by. it never really scared me or anything. just took note of it.

well this one morning - it was quite early around 6:30 - 7:00 am i had called my sister to try coordinate our rides to an early morning staff meeting at the casino we worked at and while i talked to her on the phone i saw the same little shadow run by down the hallway. i thought nothing of it. then my sis asked me if any of my kids were up and i said no. then she went quiet and she said i'll tell you later. so i asked her - what she was talking about later on when we got to the meeting - she said she heard a little kid saying "mommy! mommy!" in the background while i was talking to her. talk about creepy...

so i asked my dad to come over and pray ... he asked me afterwards if i had ever lost a baby. i told him yeah there was suppose to be a baby between my second and third - i had gotten up to 16 -17 weeks gestation - very bad miscarriage but it was an easy pregnancy up until then. not like my other ones, my girls - very bad nausea and bleeding problems. he told me that the shadow was that baby - who would have been four or five by that point...

I really do belive the spirits the interreact within our lives are there to act as guides, protectors, educators and in some cases comfortators. Many times over the years that second voice has went of just in the nic of time to prevent some horrible from happening. My father died when i was very young and my husband never has the opportunity to meet him. At the time this event happened he had never even seen a photo of my father. My husband had to work late one night and the road home took him over a fairly large bridge. at the time we were living in central fla. just as he got to the middle of the bridge one tire blew out on the front end causing him to loose control and the car landed on top of the bridge railing. as the rescue teams worked to get him back over the railing to safety he felt two hands from the back seat pulling him backwards holding him in a safe position which any sudden moves could have sent the car over the railing into tampa bay below. Later he described the face he saw in his review mirror........i took out my fathers picture and handed it to him.... his only comment was.....what a way to meet your fatherinlaw.

I remember when my mom moved into her house,there was a lot of weird paranormal activity going on. He had a poltergise thing going on where every now and then things would move, fall or get thrown on its own. We blessed the house with some sweet grass and said a prayer but still it continued. One day I was alone and I swore there was someone that kept closing my back door? Not sure if anyone was messing with me but I got so mad I just talked out load and told what ever it was to leave us alone and we ment it no harm. I yelled for it to pass to the other side and till that day I never really have experienced it again. I was always taught to try and not show fear in these situations, prayer and some yelling helps I guess.

yea theres a path that goes through my parents house up towards my aunts and through their house that the "lil ppl" have....my mom would just finish the dishes and turn the lights out in the kitchen and hear the pots and pans fall to the ground....they liked doing that...they would even be on a flat surface too...one year my lil bro was around id say 2 or 3 when he got taken by them, my grandpa just so happen to be outside when he saw them taking him to the cave im guessing thats where they come from...but anywho he followed them there and when he got there they had my bro in a snakeskin chair...and grandpa told him that they had better give him back, he didnt belong there. He got him back, i dont know what else he said or did to them but what the elders told me what that...im sure there was more to it. but my grandpa told us not to ever ask him about it or they will take him away. so we never did. and now he is 25 years old, dont remember nothing so we just left it as that...;)
