American pop culture is like a milkshake, it don't last long!

1. I know Reuben, he likes to have fun, and he is a "Showman"

2. Always have your camera ready, fresh battery, plenty of memory sticks, etc

3. As exciting as this was, I must remember to not pan around too fast for my tiny SONY camera.

4. EDITING. After a L-O-N-G day of filming, etc, I have footage and must shape it into a video. Editing decisions made while so tired, with blurry eyes from filming, are "gut calls".

5. YOUTUBE. After all that work, I hope for 500 views of the video. Any of my videos over 1,000 views is Awesome (for me).

My YouTube view count today is at 845,000 with 915,000 minutes viewed. By the end of this powwow season the views will be over 1 Million. Then I am going to start a new career (I hope)

I was fighting for camera angles all during GON, the Security Guys were a pain.

The Marketing people out front in the Motor Home told me I had Full Access and stamped my forearm with "MEDIA"

So, it was a long solo drive over to GON for mostly boring videos.

I have uploaded all the Hand Drum videos, made a Playlist.

When I done being pissed-off, I'll EDIT & Upload all the other footage, it will still look boring.

Last year, GON 2012, I was on the floor with no restrictions. I was able to get BEST camera angles on the dancers, and stand next to each drum.

You MUST be right next to drum to get cleanest percussion beat sound off the drum skin.

Filming the dancers - Some are better up close, others you need to back up and get elevation.

Anyways, I know what it takes for quality.

If I can't get quality, it ain't worth doing.

I thought they let the dance floor get out of hand at times this year. In front of the stage were masses of people. There were times it was hard to get off the stage.

That was family members running down to "support" their dancers...each song!
