South Texas(Way South) Powwow

I just returned home from a dance in McAllen Texas. I was asked to help out this years dance as their AD. The rest of the Staff made my job very easy. The head Singer this year was Frank Tongkeamha, The MC was Gary Kodaseet, Headman was Galen Williams, and the Headlady was Jodi Scott-Trevizo, and the HeadGourd was Armando Lucio. I enjoyed myself greatly and would be proud to help out again next year if asked. This is a very nice dance and I would recommend it to anyone going to this area next year on the 4th weekend of Oct. The Powwow Committee/family go out of their way to make you comfortable and feel good as their guest.
