No offense RDNKJ, but you all realize that we've used up 4 page on...Cornbread? lol.

And I'm calling for a recount, I think the judges were bribed, NO WAY, sweet is better than unsweet, it's fixed, it's all fixed to keep a brotha down.

Mine just gets washed with really hot water-no soap to take out the seasoning. I've got a couple of larger skillets I need to reseason, but haven't gotten around to doing that yet.

I have an old cast iron skillet. Not any of the new stuff. My skillet is heavy. The cast iron I see in the stores now just don't seem to be the quality of the old ones.

Mine are old, too. Any of them, even the small cornbread one, would easily break a foot if you dropped one on it.

There's a place here in town that serves a cornbread appetizer. The cornbread is plain (unsweet), and it is served with goat cheese and a portobello & crimini mushroom sauce.

It's actually very good! It's the one exception to my rule of unadulterated cornbread. But then, the cornbread itself is plain and doesn't have anything in it. The goat cheese and mushroom sauce are served to the side.
