attlesnake Mountain Observatory dismantled

Kennewick, Washington (AP)

The telescope and other parts of the Rattlesnake Mountain Observatory that were used to search the night sky for more than 35 years have been dismantled and stored at Columbia Basin College in Pasco.

Now scientists are looking for a new home for the observatory so it can continue to be used.
