August 21 2017 Total Eclipse information
On August 21, 2017 there will be a TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE SUN. The path of
totality will pass over the reservation town of ETHETE, WYoming at 11:38:27 and will last approximately 2 minutes. Special eclipse glasses are needed to view the partial phases of the eclipse but are not needed for the two minutes the eclipse is in totality. When the eclipse is total, flares and prominences will be visible around the edges of the sun. The path of totality will also pass over Idaho Falls, Idaho; Casper, Wyoming; and Kansas City, Missouri, all major cities.
