Judge threatens to close migrant housing camp in SoCal desert
Riverside, California (AP)
A federal judge threatened to shut down a migrant housing encampment by the end of January unless its owner presents a detailed plan explaining how he intends to make drastic repairs.
ďIf I get the feeling that this is not going to happen, Iím going to close the place down. Iíll send out federal marshals, and that will be it,Ē U.S. District Judge Stephen G. Larson said about the trailer park thatís home to roughly 6,000 people.
