Pow wow radio question

When I try to listen to pow wow radio via powwows.com, it stops, the time continues to go, but the music stops playing.
Please do not tell me I need to down load anything because the last time I went to download from the link, it put a virus on my computer, thankfully my husband is a computer tech and he removed the virus.
If I have facebook open and try to listen to the pow wow radio it wont work. I can listen for about ten minutes if I close down windows and reopen.

We will look into this.

As far as an infected download goes... The only download link on the page is for mobile devices like iPhone and Android. Anything else is an ad placed automatically by Google - which is used to provide the ad inserts for the site. Right now I saw an ad placed saying "Download Now" "Play Now" "Signup Now". The admins don't have too much control over what ads are placed automatically, in fact a lot is based on the content of the page and recent searches in your browser cache.

Highly unlikely but we did get hacked badly a number of months ago and about 2 years ago so if it was during that time you may have downloaded a link placed by a hacker. The hacker issue was resolved shortly thereafter.

If you can only listen to some music only after you have to restart then the issue most likely lies with your machine. The stream we are using is a simple Flash player. The only thing you will need to make sure you have updated is Adobe Flash player.

It's running fine for me at the moment - I've been listening for a little over 12 minutes with no interruptions.

Not sure where you got a virus from. We are virus free. We work hard to remain virus free.

You can always check with sites like this:
Report for powwows.com | Norton Safe Web

If anything is reported from us, they know it.

Not sure why you can't listen to the app for more than 10 minutes. If you leave it open in a separate window, it should be fine.
