Want to Learn about Navajo
Hi, hoping u guys can offer me some help. I learned in high school (I'm 20 now) that I am part Navajo. The percentage is very very little but I honor that part of heritage that I have, even if it's little. And want to learn more about my culture and tribe. But I don't think I can very well just go walk onto a reservation (I've never gotten to be on one yet) and just ask them to teach me. I want to learn the dances possibly, the why's behind them, the culture of Navajo. Any advice on how I can begin to do this, I would preferably like to learn it from someone face to face, not just look up videos.
Thanks! |

First thing to find out. Who are your clans? It is best to know which ones before embarking on your journey.
