Josi,

This is great that there is a current push to get our Native veteran's recognized for all their contributions to the United States military.

I just wrote a cover page for a group of veterans to petition Congress to make November 7, National Native American Indian Veteran's Day.

I will post updates.

On Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 11:00 am a monument was dedicated to honor the 32 Native Americans Veterans who received the Ultimate Eagle Feather: The Congressional Medal of Honor. This monument is the first phase of four potential phases for memorials and grounds honoring Native American Veterans. The grounds on which the monument is located are open to the public daily from sunrise to sunset. No Admission.
