Our mutual "relative" saw it in the paper and told me about it. He about died laughing.LMAO That actually happened here, they had heard something about it and did it. Dang some people will actually fall for anything. The couple did wind up okay, but that wasn't really a bright thing to do.

Yeah, don't I know it.

That's why when someone not from NC or OK tells me that something is or is not tradition, I always ask "Where did you get your info from", maybe not in those exact words, but that's usually the meaning that I'm getting at and then I make a phone call and ask myself.LOL It's the only way to keep some of it straight, 'cause there is so much info that is so far off or so incorrect out there, it's really mind blowing.

But now, even though the wrists may be bound, I have never heard of the wrists being cut. I have to say that again.LOL It's not funny, but a couple actually did that a few years back and had to have EMS run them to the emergency room, they almost bled to death, they somehow thought that that was a Cherokee Marriage tradition, not one that I've ever heard of.
I think they got that mixed up it is suppose to be cut palms and you press the hands together and the blood mingles together
Ohh wait that is a Vulcan wedding
LOL
