I love any kind of leftover chili over rice with lots of cheese.

And if you're going to the trouble to make homemade chili, you can sure tell the difference between canned beans and homemade.

But of course canned is good if you're pressed for time. Much better than canned chil. But that would be good with rice and cheese.

Chili Beans-homeade-2 pounds dry pinto beans.Wash, but hold the wax. Put in big pot covered with water and let sit all night. Next morning 1 large diced onion,1 large diced bell pepper,6 to 12 ceynne peppers diced, and 6 to 12 japeno' peppers diced real fine.On the ceyenne and japeno-just depends on how hot you want it.Mix this all together with beans real good. Stir ever so often as we don't want the beans sticking and burning.Keep water just above beans and about 30 minutes before you done put in 2 small cans tomatoe sauce and stir in good.

Cool! I just hope to find pinto beans somewhere! I hope so!
Can I cook them in my crock pot? Or should I better use a normal pot?
