Buzzard Winds
Nentego people touched by the bear, kept by the turtle, a stone withstands the river that flows on. buzzard fly cries songs of elders past that know the leaves that fall to grace our footsteps on the earth that weeps. In the end the wind speaks and stone surrounds your feet as the light of others walks with you and takes you to the grandfather gate far away and near, too near, all the same. so says the bear, the man his name is Wyawaqacumen, and he walks everywhere and nowhere at all. |
