Hello. I haven't responded because I have been talking to some people and doing some research to decide what to do. You were kind to answer me in detail. Thank you. Briefly, we have three people who have married into various branches of my family (one a Mormon) and I have names back to the 17th century or earlier. I have reviewed what they have done, and it looks like they did a good job. You did not make me mad. As Popeye said, "I am what I am." I can still help Native Americans if they want my help, no matter what my background. I don't think the relatives checked tribal rolls. Checking other references would be expensive and time-consuming, and I have some other responsibilities that are more important. But I thought I should say "thank you."

I noticed a message about a loss. I hope and pray the person is in a better place.

And Powwows hasn't been as active for a while now. Hopefully eventually it will pick up again though.

Sorry to hear about your mom. My dad passed in September. Seems there is so much to do.
