Hey ya hey Went to St.Croix Turtle Lake Powwow. Yellow hammer was host southern. they invited their friends from the red rock (or cliff??) creek gourd dance soc. to do some social dances sat and sunday. I think they're oto-missouri. I remember one of the lead guys there had the last name Grant. anyways, made me think of you all. The powwow overall was good. too many people caught up in that contest aggression though. glad i don't know what that's like. my favorite dancers didn't place. and smokeytown actually stayed after hours to sing a few more songs for the few die hard dancers. Wow! that's the first time I've seen that happen...Littler Ottter will be at Red Cliff tradish!!! Little Otter!!! Oneida contest has Midnite Express (had enough of them already). Little Otter!!!
