ANY! LOL. We have many also.
I met a Yaqui that said she had never been to a Fiesta of any sort. I asked "If a Yaqui does not experience the Fiestas~ are they really Yaqui?" LOL.

The Yaquis were so scattered during the Mexican /Indigenous struggles. Perhaps that scattering of families is what you are describing. It has made it difficult for some to hold together "full" family experience for sure. But wow what an enduring people they are.I am so amazed by what I learn of their experience.

My trouble is that I don't know too much about that side of my family.. It got lost along the way. We know that our family migrated South from Sonora area down to central mx and then back up again generations later finally settling in Monterrey and then eventually traveling north here. I think that my dad has info but he's in MX and hard to just sit and talk with him about our family origins.

I don't see very many Easter people from Rio Yaqui on here. Nice that you are here. Do you hail from a pueblo north or south of the border?
