In Mexico, gringo means "foreigner", so there's that. Doesn't have to be a caucasian, just not from there. I never heard it used here in the US, except in a movie.

Yeah, venting has to wait till Monday morning. No venting at pow wows. This is the oldest pow wow in Virginia, 65th annual this year. Be sure to get there next year if you come to the east.
