My grandmother Adelaide Newell, Passamaquoddy Elder...

I regretfully announce the passing of my grandmother Adelaide Newell on Dec. 2. She was 87 years old and passed away quietly that afternoon. She was my true inspiration when I felt lost and her memories will serve me well in the future. I'm a lucky man to have had her in my life so long.

My family misses her and loves her dearly.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday (Dec. 7) on the Pleasant Point Passamaquoddy Reservation beginning at 10 AM ET
