Johnny Steve Jacobs
Mr. Johnny Steve Jacobs, of Niagara Falls, NY passed away on his 48th Birthday, Saturday, July 22nd, 2006 unexpectedly at his residence.
Mr. Jacobs was born in Ransomville, NY, on July 22, 1958, the son of Celia [ Chew ] Jacobs Krasinski and the late Marcel Jacobs.
A member of the Turtle Clan, as a child he resided on the Tuscarora Indian Reservation, where he attended the Tuscarora Indian School and graduated form Niagara Wheatfield High School in 1975. He later attended NCCC in Sanborn, NY; Stoney Brook Community College, and he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Canisus College in Buffalo, NY in 1994. He had worked for Iron Worker's Local in Niagara Falls, NY, and had been a manager for the Falls View Casino, in Niagara Falls, Ontario. He had worked from home as a website designer and computer technician. He enjoyed as a hobby photography, and had taken and sold many photo's of race horses at the Saratoga Race Track. He was also a graphic design artist. Johnny had written four books, which were published.
Surviving in addition to his mother Celia, are two daughters, Shawnee Billie Jacobs; Dakota Kathy Jacobs; their mother, Ida Rickard; two brothers, Neal [ Kimberly ] Jacobs; Mitchell Jacobs; half brother, Vernon [ Lori ] Jacobs; grandmother, Shirley Chew and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Marcel, and step father Howard Krasinski; brother, Jan Jacobs; step twin sisters, Diane and Donna Pellitier and great grandfather Chief Hibert Chew.
The family will be present at Tuesday 7 - 9 PM at RHONEY FUNERAL HOME, SANBORN, 5893 Hoover Road, where a Prayer Service will be held at 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at at Tuscarora Baptist Church, 2208 Mount Hope Road, Sanborn, NY. at 1 PM on Wednesday, July 26th, with Rev. Walter A. Printup, Jr. & Rev. Donald A. Robinson, Jr. officiating. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery Lewiston, NY.
I know quite a few of you may have had a bad experience meeting this man online.. but for some of us, we'll really miss him.
