    My Nephew

My nephew who was only 8 weeks old. I held him only once in my arms, when I returned from the Marines. The next time I carried him he was in a casket. He died from SIDS.

We recently lost a few more of our elders............

We recently lost one of our most important elders here, Roddy Sundchild. He was in Washington i think for the oepning of the Smithsonian.......... We have pictures of him we took at pow wows. He was a great man, very respected! One year ago this past thanksgiving we also felt the loss of a great and honorable woman, Mrs. Mary Lodgepole. A man my husband worked with was alos lost while he was hunting, and the mom of my friend Gena here in rocky boy also just recently passed............ our condolences to those others who have lost family and friends.

I thank BlackBear for those kind words, I'm imagining what my mom is going through. I loved my aunt, wish I could've seen her at least once this year, the last time I saw her was at my wedding. I think about times like this and it's one of many reasons I want to come home, I don't want to have any regrets with my parents. Thank you again, it means alot to me.

    for "Baa-baa's".....

    Bobby Joe Snowball.....
..thinking of you on this day that you passed as I held your hand. I talked with your Dad this morning and also with our bro "Dawg". Hard to believe three years have gone by already. Our memories are changing from sadness to fondness and funny. It must be how it's meant to be. Me and my son's watched an old X-mas video last night and we seen you on there. Good times for all on that day in '95.
On behalf of all my family. I send this out to you "Bobby Joe". The honor song I made for you is sang often and I even hear it on internet radio. For those of you that might have Midnite Express "Live From Minnesota". The song is titled " A song for Ga-mahs" Track #13.

    Respect Always,
