Yeah you really got to believe this one coming from the likes of Betsy Ashby AKA Bettie Ashby. She is as big of a fraud as they come. I too am glad Diamond Brown got a new lease on life and I wish him the best but you know, there are three sides to every story (Follow the links below for some more interesting reading)
"There are stories that Betsy Ashby has allegedly been involved with sexual abuse of young girls in Virginia, sexual harassment, plagerization, criminal coercion, theft of intellectual property, slander, defamation, and other accusations which the Church could not verify.
Betsy Ashby hasallegedly been accused by Native American Cherokee sources of Fraud. This is a terrible accusation, since these people had no idea of her past history and have allegedly given her thousands of dollars under false pretenses.
We have e-mail allegations that Betsy Ashby coerced and mentally abused a young girl in Georgia. Although we have seen the horrible e-mails, we feel we need incontrovertible proof. In the meantime these stories should be considered damning and interesting, . When confronted by questions about Betsy Ashby's Plagerization, and her claims that she was holding the only Gathering of the Tribes, she just laughed and said everything is fair in business and since she was not a Pagan, Karma didn't apply to her.
Betsy Ashby placed a page on her web site claiming that we had plagiarized her page. LOL LOL Go to the DM Page at http://www.dynionmwyn.com/gathering.html and look for any evidence of Plagerization. Of course, you won't find any. According to Lady Cerridwen of Y Tylwyth Teg, Betsy Ashby's position in the Pagan community is irrelevant and unimportant since she has violated too many trusts.
In our opinion, Betsy Ashby is without honor. We have linked to several e-mails she has sent to individuals that will demonstrate her true nature."

Betsy Ashby, owner of the Pagan Resource Center of Newport News, Virginia and a dedicated follower of Brooke Edwards AKA "Medicine Eagle". Most memorably, she once described how Edwards tricked a sheriff's deputy into shooting an unarmed AIM member when AIM protested one of her pay to pray ceremonies. She also sent me numerous emails arguing Natives had never gone through genocide. Other pagans from her area sent us notes of praise and describd her as an unrepentant racist, and that heavy handed tactics scared other local pagans into silence.
Ashby issued dozens of threats of lawsuits, none of which were ever carried out. In fact, her lawyer's tactics were so sleazy and unethical, he faced being disbarred and only avoided any action from his state bar by concealing his address."
