  • Crow (the bird)

    Hello All,
I am not sure if this is the place to ask this. If it is not, maybe someone can direct me to the right place. The other day as I was driving to work I saw a crow hovering about 20 feet above the highway like a falcon or a humming bird. I had to drive under it to get past. I have never seen a crow do this and it has been in my mind since seeing it. If my thinking is right Crow deal with spiritual law. I would welcome any thoughts on this.
"What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in
the night. It is the breath of a buffalo
in the wintertime. It is the little shadow
which runs across the grass and loses
    itself in the sunset."

Well, hummingbirds flutter their wings to hover and hawks use subtle wing and feather movements to stay aloft on air currents.

The crow was probably just found a good air current.
          ...it is what it is...

20 feet is low, but I agree he was waiting for you to leave so he could get to roadkill or a french-fry or such. We have many ravens here in Alaska and they are very fun to watch. They are very large here in Fairbanks and I've even observed one years ago, pull a whole plastic grocery sack full of McDonalds leftovers out of our apartment complex dumpster!

All I can say about crows is that it's the only bird that does not drink water like other birds. The other fact is that they are very smart and will adapt to any environment even if you try to change it.

As for Ginger, she is everywhere like a crow!!
