Are there any complete and SIMPLE collections of Native American prophesies that are waiting to be fulfilled? A link to such a website would be fine. I know about White Buffalo Woman and Tecumseh. I once heard something about a Hopi(?) prophesy about complting a broken clay plate or something??? What prophesies are you or your families and tribe waiting for to be fulfilled, and does anyone know just how many such prophesies are out there waiting to come true? Let's see if we can list them. I'll stick with listing Tecumseh and White Buffalo Woman. Anyone else?

the alignment with the blackhole had me wondering...alot...so a few months ago I researched all I could on it and discovered various opinions...lay opinions and scientific ones. The scientific ones say the alignment is visual, based on our point of view, It makes sence that the Mayan calendar matches up with visual alignments

The Mayan calender isn't ridiculous. The Mayan people interpret it as they do. It's their culture and their beliefs. Same with the Aztec calender and any calender of other cultures.

It's the people, not of THAT culture, who try to interpret teaching, and muck it all up.

The Julian, or Gregorian (I'm old. I forget which one it is and too lazy to go look it up. lol) calender is a European calender. Got any idea why we use it?

The US uses the Gregorian Calendar which has been in use since the middle ages.

The Julian calendar is an Old Roman Calendar that is still used in Modern times by a few countries
It has a leap year every 8 years and occasionally will have a 377 day year.

The Mayan Long Count Calendar is one of many calendars that the Mayans used. This particular calendar is over 5000 years long and ends roughly in 2012

Now there are several coincidences that happen to occur in 2012 which is based on scientific facts

Our Sun will align with the Galactic center of our Galaxy in 2012

The sun's 11 year cycles ends and the poles will switch

The Mayan Long Count Calendar appears to end in 2012

So all of this taken together have people believing that a great Epoch is getting ready to occur.

Of course the Doomsayers are saying that this was all foretold and the end of the World is nigh here

Or as I am believing Life will go on and we will find another big date to mark off such as Y3K

oh my friend told me a new one she heard....that the Mayan calendar actual predicts it all ends on 11/11/11 cause of some stretched explanation and that we are all aware that 11/11 is a freaky combo and became aware as digital clocks were invented (I just thought it ment make a wish). And that those of us aware of this need to become the worlds leaders. Any way thought I'd throw the newest conspirocy out there.

My bad wording...the prophacy of the Mayan calendar meaning the world will end is ridiculous, the calendar itself is amazing, to be able to bas a clendar on a galactic cycle is astounding...I'm always givin my husband hell for not using enough words in a sentence to explain what he is talkin about and now I've done the same...that'll teach me
...going to fix that before everyone else misenturprets me.

How about the one about the Mayan Longcount Calendar that ends on Dec 21st 2012!!!
Despite the fact that the Two Calendars are totally incompatable and it is anybodies guess when the Calendar ends
