This is an honest question and I hope it doesn't cause any animosity. But what race are Native Indians, especially from North America?

I have seen many Native Indians from South America and many of them look Filipino or Indonesian (especially the Amazonian tribes in Brazil). But many Native Indians from North America don't fit the bill of either Mongoloid or Caucasoid. They look like a race with both Mongoloid and Caucasoid features.

Therefore, what race are Native Indians in general? Thank you.

You first have to define 'race'. What is your definition of 'race' in relationship to your question?

I would imagine you are talking phenotypic 'race' or a race of race of social construct.

If you read enough books, you'll start believe Indigenous people from South America are descendents of the small islands of the South Pacific.

Your wording Mongoloid or Caucasoid seems to give approval to the Bering Strait land bridge THEORY.

So, have you already developed an opinion American Indians are from the white and yellow race?
