I would like to say hi and introduce myself. I've just been made moderator of the creative writing forum.

I would like to encourage everyone out there that has ever written or even scribbled anything to post it here and share it with others. None of us are Pulitzer prize winners (at least that I'm aware of) so post away!

I'll post a couple of things I wrote to get us started but I hope to have a lot of you share your writings too. Anything, poems, stories, thoughts. Anything, that's why it's called "creative" writing.

        Thanks!
The way to become a moderator is for another moderator to nominate you and then it is like voted on. Some of the things they look for is if you are a member of course. How long you have been a member and how frequently you post and all.

Right now I have very mixed feelings about the events of today. I realize the large majority of the members here have no idea what happened and were not involved.

I've spent alot of time and money developing the site with most of it going into the features on this forum. Right now...

As many of you probably know, I am a student in his second year of college. One of my credit requirements is a history course where from day one, we began discussing pre-Columbian America.

There, I got a good earful of such historic gyms as:

            Hi !
I was told that Navajos have a matriarchal society. Is that frequent or do you have patriaral societies too ?
Connected to this question, I wonder what is the place of women in your respective tribes.
            Thank you for your explanations.

You know.. after reading "jorbathehutt"'s lame azz post about how we originally wanted to be NDN, but could not get enrolled, so then he throws his gunz over to the side of the "Mayoki Indians" of Pensacola...

.... I just got to thinking to make this thread...

            What happened??????
            by badmaninc
Went to work this morning, stayed late and when I got on this site. Dude WTF happened. People are arguing, threatening to beat the s*** out of each other. 2-3 women picking on a young girl, another guy saying the thread is old used up and no more fun. I thought that I went to a Band or Tribal meeting....
