    The Tree of Life is dying
    All it can say is whoorsh
    A caption that captured
    Sisigwad draws me forth

    The Tree of Life is dying
    Passed elders gather 'round
    Surround us silently
    Trees' labored breath the sound

    The Tree of Life is dying
    He offers up the pipe
    I stand watch to his left
    The leaves that fall our plight

    The Tree of Life is dying
    A messege they've given
    Tell those who would hear it
    Save the Tree yet living

    I was wondering if you meant the spirits of the elders gone by? Or did you mean past elders?

    Overall nice poem.
