  • Sorrow

    My whole chest hurts
My eyes tear up when I think
I think that even heaven doesn't understand sorrow

I see the good times and it's all in black and white
    Like stills, mirror images
The laughter, the smiles, holding hands, his eyes

    I can't move
I wipe the tears from my eyes
    Slowly slowly it goes

I would rather be angry at the world
I would rather scream and fight
    I would rather drown

Than to sit here and look out on what I have done
    with my life
    So painful to be here

    Just read this...

I really like your poem. I see it has been there for awhile, but I missed it earlier. You really should write more poems!

thank you. That was a real bad time for me. I think I had just realized that my love for my husband surpassed love for myself. I hope eventually that I can find myself again and be the strong woman that I always was. Just a little more tactful this time around :) .lol.
