Our Shared Humanity: Connecting Each to Each (Poems for ConnecTeach) seeks poems, photography, and essays focusing on education as a human right. Works may address but are not limited to exploring the following sub topics; poverty, gender, and displaced communities. Submission period November 14 through November 28. Decisions mid-February. Payment one copy. Simultaneous submissions accepted if identified as such. Please notify immediately if your submission is placed elsewhere. Submissions of up to three poems or black and white 8×5 photos must be Word/JPEG files, to ConnecTeachPoetry[MENTION=40822]yahoo[/MENTION].com or to edmodo.com, group code 8tiip5. Include your first and last name and genre submission, example “Jane Doe, photography,” in the subject field of the email. All anthology proceeds go to the commitment of ConnecTeach to empower educators in the world’s poorest communities.
