        Little Big Man......

        Classic....
"She also has a very soft skin. The only trouble with snake women is they copulate with horses, which makes them strange to me. She say's she doesn't. That's why I call her "Doesn't Like Horses". But, of course, she's lying."

There's another one from like 20 years ago (it's a Canadian movie) ... Where the Spirit Lives ... it's a good one too. It's about a young girl who is forced to go to a residential school ... it's very moving.

That's one thing I've always noticed about American vs Canadian ... there has been a long history of First Nations movies here. Some are made my First Nation production (Blue Hill Productions for example) companies with a majority of Native actors/actresses etc. Not so much states side ...

oh yea ... Dance Me Outside ...

WE have Little Big Man on DVD.....
Thankful for the blessing from the Creator in my life!!!!

Life should not be measured by the number of things that we aquire on our journey but by the number of lives that we touch along that road.

I am a bridge on the red path between my ancestors and the future. I am a bridge between my white heritage and my native heritage. A bridge joins two sides together and provides a way to move on..... A.K. O'Pry-Reynolds

                              Clearcut

                              Chechout "Clearcut"
From back in the early 90's
Graham Green had a great role'

"When a lawyer loses an appeal to stop a logging company from clear-cutting Native American land, Arthur, an Indian militant drags him and the kidnapped logging mill manager into the forest. The lawyer's empty talk about how the company's greed should be punished is put into brutal action by Arthur, who tortures the manager in allegorical ways mimicking what loggers do to the forest."

                              my favorite quote'
Enough!, What do you mean enough? This is only one white man's leg.

Great movie with hidden double meanings everywhere.

"Now remember, things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. That's just the way it is." JW
