I know I have not be on here for about a yr a lot has happened. I am wondering does anyone on here have a child on the Autism Spectrum/ADHD I have tried numerous things to help my son meds have done nothing for long term. I am looking into possible home remedies I can not afford to take my son to the Dan dr's for detoxifications of different things from the environment.

    Thank You

what form of autism has your child been diagnosed with? have you ever heard of aspergers disease? it is a form of autism..my nephew has it..my sister went thru alot of grief before he was finally diagnosed with it... i was watching 48 hours on tv one night and it was about autism and aspergers disease.. i watched and said ooooo myyy that is my nephew.. i called my sis and said you have to have him checked for that and he was a classic case..there are alot of things they can do for them now without all the medication ...pm me and i will talk to you about some of the things she has done over the years that has made him a bit more mainstream with kids and peers..

Well my 8 yr old son is at the bottom of the autism umbrella plus OCD. There are social programs such as classes that teach basic empathy & ones for social skills, as well as support groups for parents. This can help them fit in better socially & help you learn rutines that will help your child follow better behaviour. Some are provided for free & some you may or may not have to pay for based on where your child falls in the umbrella of autism spectum disorders.

Some of it I have found helpful & some I didn't.
