hand 'em out, show them how to use them, and make sure it's before the '9 ayee!

I think it is a good idea. I agree children are a gift, but STDs aren't. We try to educate young people and adults in general about the risk of STDs by explaining how we have a friend that is a carrier for HIV. He was unaware of this for years. Healthy as can be. However, anyone he slept with contracted AIDS. He now goes around speaking on responsibility. Although someone appears to be healthy, the risk is still there. He said it isn't that he has to live with the fact that he is a carrier for HIV, but the knowledge that he mindless killed some of his friends who contracted AIDS from him even though he had no knowledge of being a carrier.

People have to realize there are silent killers out there. It is better safe than sorry.

Good discussion i guess people need to be more liberal and don't just take a condom as a joke but more than that.

            Hmmm

Considering our population crisis, maybe we should be giving out free scented candles and Viagra instead.

In an ideal world that might work but this is far from an ideal world. Sex is has been more pronounce than in any other generation before an there is much more pressure to do the deed, so to speak.

I think preventive measures like condoms such are a good idea and maybe it should not only be at powwows, but maybe tribes need to step in too with some other preventative care like birth control. There is no need for more single mothers in Indian country I say.

This is great Idea to distribute condoms free of cost, Look it is not much costlier but due to hesitation and laziness people does not want to purchase.Distributing free of cost and different-different places will protect the society from AIDS and it will control the population. so lets take a oath to use condoms regularly.

This subject is near and dear to my heart. Hell I think someone should stand at the 69's and give them out.
Make your daughters see the wisdom of dating/marrying DORKS not thugs. The most dangerous thing about Dorks is they just might kick too many people's tails on a video game or play GI Joe or Transformers with their kids. Or worse yet know way way too much about dinosaurs...

I thought the round dances were known as 49 and not 69? Am I right? If you are 69ing you better be using condoms!

I read an agenda for the Sacred Hoop’s stop at the State Capitol in Helena, Montana and one of the items being addressed by Lieutenant Governor Bohlinger was the importance of Native people staying sober. I thought to myself, what a topic to write...
