If he was getting infections that's due to poor hygiene. If there's no physical abnormality in the foreskin, and the guy cleans his penis as most normal people do... infections do NOT happen unless the guy puts their penis in something without covering it first. ONLY PHYSICAL ABNORMALITIES require circumcision. Excellent personal hygiene can stop infections... as is evident by my 28 years of no infections.

You didn't read the whole thing. I said "Other things" too. There WERE medical reasons. I'm happy for you that you didn't get what other's did. But then you are not Everyone either. Just making a point that in some (many) cases there are medical reasons not just someones opinion.

I always knew there were certain medical reasons :) I assumed people would realise that many people know that which is why I didn't mention it.

how can you go wrong,pick a topic that will have a large impact on a person feeling call people bad names and declare your self the winner, well you should be might proud of your self about now,but your the only one that is.

Dude you need to get a grip - I didn't comment on the discussion around circumsizing boys - nor will I, for I understand both sides of why people do and don't do it.

I am offended by your comment implying that I think it is okay to sexually assault children - even someone with half a brain knows it is wrong!

Maybe you need to lay off the sugar so you can calm down a bit - this board has many members and it's own moderators - your comments on each post are unnecessary!

Dude - I have been reading your ongoing quest to be right for 2 weeks now and you operate by the same MO - bully and question other people's common sense and morals - I'm not easily bullied - and you can be offended if you like - maybe that will get you thinking about the content of your posting.

Check out my registration date - I've been around here for 7 years and been challenged by better and worse men and women then you - maybe you should pay attention to posts made by someone other then yourself and you'll learn something.

A baby boy would be held down and have his parts hacked too... and has to live with it forever too. Who can say whether a baby remembers a traumatic situation like that or not? Mutilation is mutilation.

Having parts of your body cut off because your parents are ignorant abusive a$$holes is just that - your body's being mutilated for cosmetics.

A boy's body is no worse than girl's. Both procedures end up in losing a vast amount of sexual sensitivity. Either way, parents who do that to their children ought to be jailed for child abuse.

Well, I do know a man's anatomy, and I know a woman's also,
but from your post I really doubt you know about woman's anatomy. I also talked to circumcised men and not circumcised men. Some are even proud and feel more handsome and clean somehow. This is just what I was told. I think nobody should have done anything against his/her will, and there are risks with every surgery also. And men and women are worth the same. Just that women are giving birth 'through there'. Now don't go and reply that men are making babies 'through there' *g*.
These two things are not comparable like circumcisions of male and female are not really comparable, because there are worlds between. It would be a bit comparable if the circumcision of a man would mean that his glans is cut out and the sides of his penis are cut off also. Just my opinion. The circumcision of a man would be comparable with cutting 'just' the hood of a woman's clit off. So there is no comparison possible. In general nobody should cut anything off without a medical indication. My opinion.

I'm not for traditions when it comes to slicing off bits of a child's body. Foreskin is there for a reason.

I'm even less against traditions if they include using sexual predjudice to decide whether one child gets mutilated and cut, and one child not.

Either way... I don't give a flying fvck what people think about this particular opinion of mine. People who have that done to their children don't deserve to have children.

What kind of a person thinks its good to cut parts of a helpless baby's body off for cosmetic reasons... or just because everyone else does it? The foreskin is there to protect the penis - it's not a damn genetic mistake. If a tradition includes genital mutilation ON SOMEONE WHO CAN'T OBJECT OR SAY NO, then the tradition needs to be changed.

Right! And tradition can be good, but sometimes times change and circumstances change also. So... good that we got the ability to think and change our minds.
