Okay - so we come here and gripe about what we don't like. So I want to hear some ideas for saving culture and helping the people.
I'm doing this cause a friend of mine, Steve Mack is writing a history of his tribe- from their point of view. Has worked with the rez college about using it for teaching. Using our words to describe ourselves is something that needs doing. Want to work with other colleges teaching Native studies to get them to carry the book. It's a start.
So what other ideas are floating out there?
How do we make them happen?
One thing that held us back was the inability to communicate with each other- so now what are we waiting for?
