  • National Holiday on calenders(Native American Indian Heritage )

this always bugs me, notice we do not have a holiday on the calender in honoring Native Americans, we all know that Nov. is Native American Month, but, we should have been on the calender for Nov. all im asking is for 1 day, long over due, dang dang dang. give some ideas please, holla
they should change columbus day to our day, yuppers

I always thought it was ironic that Native American Month is in the same month as Thanksgiving.
Take nothing for granted. Life can change irrevocably in a heartbeat.

I will not feed the troll-well, I will try.

It sure doesn't get much publicity - unlike Black History Month or Hispanic Heritage Month.

Yeah, it should be reconized. I always wondered about that too. Not that I disagree with black history month, but why isn't ours reconized?
I saw a really neat vid on youtube, I think is was called 'the truth about columbus' or something like that....anyways, it's worth watching:)

Hey, this is another one that I forgot about. So, tomorrow is the nationally recognized Native American Day.

Well, late spring, the tribe I worked for gave everyone holiday pay for American Indian Day on May 13th. They did this last year, too, but for the life of me I cannot find any...

Is an American Indian a Native American?

If I was born in America, am I a Native American?

If I was talking on the internet and told someone I was Native American, how would they know which one I was?
