I got into an agruement today regarding the racist naming of professional sport teams. It was said to me that most Indians take it as a complament. I find this hard to believe.
Are you offended. Did the names above offend you. I'm sure we have all heard the others.
I'm suprised that the names still exist. Cleveland and Washington's names are too far in todays politically correct climate. How is this still unnoticed. At least the team in my city uses a generic term for a position (CHIEFS).
Am I way off base here?
Or is this a non-issue?
