    taken from the site:
    "it is of the greatest importance that we- as non-Native people- honour and respect Native American Culture AT ALL TIMES! This should be reflected in our behaviour and dress. "
    well that's just swell. thanks. but would they be willing to actually ask Native Americans how best to go about that?

    "There are myriads of books, videos, and DVD's available, all containing the relevant information you will need."
    myriad= yes
    relevant=uhmmm...

    maybe, possibly they mean well and just don't understand. Maybe, possibly they would be willing to be educated from actual native americans. maybe, possibly they would be interested in sponsoring champion dancers to come and demonstrate first hand. (i'm trying to be optimistic)
    if they resist, make excuses, or start telling NDN what's best for them. then it onto the twinkie pile with them.

    I just have to add my 2 cents here, I don't understand it, it doesn't make any sense to me. They say they want to support us and show Native Peoples are still alive and thriving today. How does a bunch of Non Natives dressing like they're NDN's performing at a Powwow show support for us? I don't get it. Think of it this way, it would be like a group of Skins dressed up in tradtional Celtic/Irish clothes and started Irish step dancing. FOR the soul purpose of trying to teach others that the Irish are still fighting each other and Britain (not saying the are just an example.) Can you imagine something like that? How does that help the Irish at all? Do you see my point? If they want to help us they should donate to the Native American Rights Fund, or perhaps get Native speakers to come and discuss the problems and struggles we still face today. I have to agree whole heartedly with Kaina1128, its what they're doing is weird and sad. Just my 2 cents, I'll get off my soap box now.

    yea I see that as being okay. I mean hey, we use and do the things they invented and brought over to us lol.. technology and what not, so I don't see a problem with them bringing a part of us over there LOL

    after all, there the ones who brought us all of the beads and bells and stuff, and powwow goodies like safety pins lol.

    denmark and chech have a lot of big powwows, you can youtube the videos lol. sometimes it's funny, but in a good way. It's not like there intentionally trying to mock us or anything, there just fascinated with Native culture, especially in germany.

    Blood Quantum And Unnecessary Refence To It.
    by JayFive
    I hold some opinions but please try to look at the subject of Blood Quantum in general, this is a major issue in the Native community.

    I see Native people always representing their Blood Quantum when they don't need to. I often feel really bad to see Native people doing this. Can you...
