There are approximately 1.9 Million Native Americans that are Federally Recognized. In a country of over 250 Million, that's a very small number!

Of course.

Those "recognized" tribes don't want their entitlement scraps divided up amongst what they consider to be the unclean masses: there'd be too much personal accountability and need to get off the dole.

Nevermind that fact that such divisiveness is what causes natives to have very little voice (save for the bleating of docile sheep) on a national scale.

The Feds pay -- the minimum -- for "peace." We accept it to remain social children.
