It looks like this outift is on their own property and they own the animals they shoot - which means that they technically "domestic" stock.

It's also how they can claims tobe able to put you onto the animals of your choice for your hunt without fear of having to refund your money if they don't. Looks like they breed their own stock too... easy to manipulate a colour when you control bloodline.

I doubt any amount of letter writing is going to influence a private business. Now that said, if they are hunting of property and on federal lands, treaty lands or other private lands, then you might get somewhere...

There is also a distinct possibility these are hybrid animals. The white color occurs with certain cattle buffalo crosses.

that would be some what more a possibility, killing a white buffalo for sport does not seems possible.. to the unaware its still something wrong to think that it could be done thank you OLChemist

I just don't believe in sport hunting. Eat the meat, use the hide and everything possible, but don't just kill it to hang it on your wall. That's awful.
Take nothing for granted. Life can change irrevocably in a heartbeat.

I'm with Subeeds. We were taught growing up that there's nothing wrong with hunting, but...you eat what you kill!

Killing anything solely for sport is unacceptable.

No offense to anyone, but that is how I was raised.

Up here in Canuckistan, it's illegal to hunt and waste the skin and meat of an edible animal (including fish). Does Texas not have the same kind of reg? When we have hunters coming from the states to hunt up here, usually the outfitter/guide takes care of the meat (since the hunter can't take it across the border).

That martial arts guy, Brock Lesner was up here last year and got dinged for wasting the meat of a deer he shot. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgar...e.html?cmp=rss

Oh, yeah. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Code prohibits killing or wounding a game bird/animal and not making reasonable effort to retrieve the carcass, and keep the edible parts in edible condition.

The ethics taught to me and my brothers by my Dad go beyond game animals. Pretty much any vertebrate, except in self defense/defense of property - if ya kill it, ya gotta eat it (we certainly had to). Opossums, raccoons, squirrels (mmmmmmmm!), grackles...etc... It doesn't matter.

Exotic game (which we never hunted) - Wanna hunt a lion? Are you gonna eat the lion? If not, then you don't need to shoot it; leave it alone.

Do y'all allow canned hunts up in Canada? We do in Texas. To me, that is absolutely wrong.

                              "CANNED HUNT"

They set up remote feeding bins, with timers to feed the animals at the same time each day. Just like Pavlov's dog, the animals get hungry and walk over to the feeding machine at same time each day.

The feeding machine is in a clearing, and the hunting ranch has towers for the "sportsmen" to snipe from.

They even had a ranch with a robo-gun that could be controlled over the internet. "Sportsmen" could shoot an animal after paying for access on the website.
