let me put it simple words you might be able to understand. The American governemt give rezs money. You hate the American government. I find it hilarious when whiteys try and justify the blantant whoring (can i say that?) of our culture by insisting that the Creator wouldn't want us to cache, rather to share the beauty that it emcompasses. That's total BS. I for one am not going to speak on behalf of the Creator, but one thing I can say is that we were blessed wayyyyy back with a gift that the Creator placed within ourselves. Only people with "red" (you know what I mean) blood flowing through their veins know about this gift.

I know this through stories that were told to me from my grandparents. I know this through having to fight alongside my uncle to draw attention to the sub standard living conditions on our rez. I know this from looking in the mirror everyday and almost being blinded from the glaring reflection from the grease on my face.

You will never understand what it is like to be Native. So you can come on here and entertain us with your tales of animal guides or making a fancy shawl skirt out of leather but remember, what you say is empty rhetoric and simply a demonstartion of wasted keystrokes...your opinion is about as valid as a Skins drivers license

:36: Hummingrose...about that post regarding family heirlooms...that is HORRID! I once bought and paid for a set of men's regalia that dated back to the early 1900's....paid 2200.00 for it, tracked it traced it and found the family it belonged to and DROVE to the reservation, found the family and gave it BACK! And I would do it again tomorrow to stop that sort of crap! Regalia is passed down, gifted to another and remains with the "family" not sold!
