we have seen him destroy tribal grounds in alabama by spinning big ruts in the lawn, emptying all his trash on the grounds upon his departure, and breaking the water lines just because he didn't make enough money, and because he wasn't the only food vendor.
we have also seen him disrespect a clan mother and her children in florida over not making enough money and control over the water hose.
we have also seen him throw a fit in new york, because he wasn't the only food vendor and he couldn't set up where he wanted to. he made more money that weekend than any other food vendor, but still acted like a butt-head.
i can tell you one thing, the destruction of the tribal grounds really upset me and made me wonder if he is native at all...
in my opinion, he isn't...furthermore, i got sick (along with 4 others) after eating his so-called buffalo hot dogs.
please get this man off the trail because i don't think he has a good heart or good food.
That's just horrible...I'm sorry you had that experience. I say to all: don't buy from him, and let him know why. And to organizers: don't hire him. He is a cheat, and disrespectful to our Tribal lands and traditions.

I heard someone mention Creative Native. Yeah, he's kind of a stickler! But he does pay up! I make all vendors pay two months in advance-if it means that much to them they will make their payment promptly, by money order only, & non refundable. All food vendors must also send a copy of their server liscense & have proof the day of.

I had a lot of complaints about the "non native americans" vendors, not the chimoks, but the Mexicans? A lot of the other vendors said they didn't like them there and because they weren't "ndn" their products were not "ndn". I guess I never thought of it but does anyone else think thats a problem?

I see this topic is still going strong.

Hey ya'll find that cheap ******* yet? Take his overpriced food and throw it in his face. I hate that, sometimes we just have enough money to make it a pow wow and sometimes have to watch how much money we spend and then the stand are always so pricey. Just take a cooler with goodies nowadays.

There are a lot of booths around here I steer clear of... a lot of made in Taiwan or Hong Kong beadwork, and a lot of other assorted junk... I honestly wonder some times how many actually make money.

There's one food vendor I've seen a couple of times that sells ndn tacos for like $7!!!! and they ain't even good!

I remember when I first started hitting pow wows around here, there were a lot of vendors set up that were places you wanted to hit... they sold tapes, cds, beads, needles, thread, sinew, bells, etc. I haven't seen vendors like that in a while, well a few.. but they are getting rare!!!

One of the gigs we have coming up, they offered us free booth space as part of the contract for our drum, yer dang well skippy we'll be setting something up! We'll see how it goes and maybe start a booth for next season... I keep telling my wife she should start a food booth... lord knows we need a good one around here!

Can't wait for Arlee... I'm missing some Poppy's Chili Cheese Fries!!!!
