Aboriginal Drummers and Jazz Festivals

Greetings all, from Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Has anyone heard of an Aboriginal Drum Group being invited to perform at a Jazz Festival. If so, can you tell me the name of group and what festival it was. I'm interested because PEI's newest Drum Group, 'Mi'kmaq Thunder' has been invited to play the PEI Jazz and Blues Festival this September. Thanks in advance. Ron.
