These workers, did begin a hunger strike, and the Koos family, who owns Con Carb, complained to their govt. and the govt. shut these guys down. It is a quite unfortunate situation, and I have kept up with this situation because the facility in question is right here in Ponca City, Ok. I know a lot of guys who got locked out, and have seen our economy take a hit because of this tyranny. For those who dont know, the union members got locked out after their management offered these guys a terrible contract that asked them to take pay cuts, benefit cuts and in essence, a contract they couldnt sign off on. Today, there are scabs working there, for half the pay, under bad conditions. Another example of corporate greed.
