Golden Eagle needs prays

I am not sure where to out this so I will place it in two areas

I volunteer at a raptor center.. We have a Golden Eagle that is very near and dear to each of us that work out there.

His name is Messiah he is a glove trained eagle and has been to many pow wows.

He is sick the blood work and other things are not possitive what is making him sick. I am going tomorrow to offer up prayers for his speedy recovery..

messiah update

He is still sick but the prayers where welcomed.. He is so handsome.. ANd I also offered up prayers for his cage mate Amazon and our other eagles. ALso a red tailed ( normal color) has a wing problem...

We have dark morph Redtails as well .. Draco and Koa are very neat to work with..

we are going to test the chickens they eat.. and hope we find what is causing this illness. Although none of the other birds that eat the chickens are getting sick so who knows. But glad we are probing all aspects

Update on Messiah & new redtail hawk

He is slowly gettting better but still not out of woods.

When the vet tech that is a handler get back she is to x-ray him to check for masses in his lungs. But yesterday he was being his old self and playing talking up a storm. Was truely nice to see that.

We now have a new redtail in the clinic. Her crop got torn by a bb gun. We had to re sew up the crop Her is being tube feed to bypass the crop till it heals. We got to name her cause she alos has something wrong with her eye. So she may be staying. But we are taking to little to no exposing to human contact just in case she is returned to wild.

I got the joy of holding her while she was being tubed.

She is a very gentle bird. I personally think she may be a human imprint she is far too easy to get when ready to tube.

But then the director said I do have a way w/ the hawks. my S/O is their Eagle man.

So I am wanting names for this bird that are Native spelled and has a nice meaning. Send them away to me either via PM or Email.

update on Messiah

Today they did blood work on him and also looked him over.
He is not out of woods as of yet. He is doing better but he still has the breathing problems no one seems to put a finger on. So prayer for wisdom on what is making him sick.

We also have a juvinal bald eagle He or she has yet to be named. If we keep her ( what I think based on the size of the bird) We will be asking local Indians to come have a naming for her. SO I will keep all posted on this so if you live in the Eugene Or area let me know And we can see when and if this happens to have you come in on it. Trust me I plan on being there with regelia on !!!...

We have started socialize this one right now baea ( bald eagle) 09 is doing well responding great to my bonded mate, Carl is doing the socializing of this bird. I am excited to get a chance when there to do somethings extra to help out while he works with his eagle :-)

He is not getting better, Director know I post here and ask for any Shamen or healers to help out.

He has tested positive for Asma or sinus infection. We have him on anitbiotic which are to no effec ton his illness.

Is there a natural medication we can give him

We got to release a sharp shin hark today was good to see a release after finding out we had to put down a red tail hawk who had been hit by a car and suffered spinal damage.

in a few more days we will release some western screach owls.

But I would adore Messiah to be back to normal he has gone to Pow wows and I want him better for the open house we have so he can dance with us.
