An Oglala woman avoided prison time but was ordered to repay $29,868 and serve five years of probation for stealing from a store on the Pine Ridge Reservation.
Rochelle Dreamer, 37, was sentenced in federal court in Rapid City after pleading guilty to larceny.
Between June and September 2006, Dreamer stole groceries, merchandise, gasoline and cash from Cubby’s Store near Oglala while she was an employee there, federal prosecutors said.
