    Azetec, New Mexico (AP)

    A 17-year-old who admitted shooting at police officers during a car chase was sentenced in district court Friday to state juvenile services custody for more than three years.

    Prosecutors had requested Krishana John be sentenced as an adult. Had she been, she could have faced up to 27 years in prison.
