Chickasaw poet and novelist Linda Hogan spent an afternoon and evening during November at Northern Arizona University as part of its Native American Heritage Month celebration.
In sharing her poetry and stories of her life, she allowed admirers (both old and new) to view the world from her viewpoint – one where we are all interrelated, and in need of a new way of seeing.
“We live in a time past the breaking point,” Hogan said, explaining that so many people are looking for an Indigenous way of understanding to save the earth.
